Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of SnipReel, an online video editor that turns your recordings into captioned shorts and reels. By using SnipReel you agree to them.

Your account

You sign in with your email address (or Google). Keep access to your email secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.

Plans and payment

• Every account gets 5 free exports, plus monthly allowances of 60 minutes of automatic captions and 30 AI actions.
• SnipReel Pro is billed monthly at the price shown for your country at checkout ($20/month in most countries, lower in some regions) and renews automatically until you cancel. It includes up to 1,000 exports, 1,500 minutes of automatic captions and 1,000 AI actions (shorts, captions and hashtags, translations) per calendar month. It also includes 100 AI-generated images a month (5 on the free plan). Allowances reset on the 1st and don't roll over.
• Free exports include a small “Made with SnipReel” badge. Free exports need a permanent email address, and are limited per network to prevent abuse.
• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which handles billing, taxes and invoices.
• You can cancel at any time from your account menu. Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

Your content

You keep all rights to the videos, audio and images you upload and the videos you create. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service (transcription, rendering and format conversion). You must have the rights to everything you upload, including music.

Acceptable use

Don't use SnipReel to process illegal content, content that infringes others' rights, or content that sexualises minors, and don't try to disrupt or overload the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

The service

We work hard to keep SnipReel available and accurate, but it is provided “as is”. AI captions and suggested shorts can contain mistakes, so review your videos before publishing. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
